Ohh ma che fai?! How you doin?
The name's Nick, your friendly neighborhood New Jersey Italian-American technical artist. On a typical day, you'll find my tush in a computer chair rigging assets, working with dynamics systems (both in various game engines and in DCC software like Maya), and rigging/animation tool development in the Maya environment using Python, Qt-based GUIs, the works.
Starting with Blender back in 2013, I have been working with 3D software for about 12 years now, so working in 3D is second nature for me at this point.
I have a particular passion for creating systems that drive digital characters and creatures. Whether that be a rig, some kind of procedural game engine setup, or whatever, I love to create the illusion of life in digital space. Stemming from a childhood fascination with animals and an appreciation for computer programming, defining the parameters of digital life is what drives me. Only thing I love more is my ma's chicken cacciatore.
